FAQs
Who is this for?
Our experiences are for those feeling drawn to integrate breathwork into their life.
For those who truly believe “it all starts with me”.
For those dedicated to personal excellence and being the solution.
For those choosing to develop characteristics like fortitude, grit, and honesty.
Leaders who show up for family, team, community, and themselves.
The driven and self-reliant professionals who choose to push past comfort.
Who is this not for?
If you’re not ready to show up on time, do the work, and respect the room, this isn’t your season. We’ll be here when it is.
Breathwork can affect blood pressure, heart rate, and overall state of being. If you’re pregnant or have a cardiovascular, respiratory, seizure, or serious medical condition, talk to your clinician first. Breathwork is not medical care and does not replace it. Inner Forge does not give legal or medical advice.
If you have a medical condition or are pregnant, you can contact us, and we can answer honestly whether a breathwork session is possible for you that is safe and beneficial.
Finally, our experiences take the safety and wellbeing of our community serious.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, stalking, or harmful behavior.

Why an in-depth application:
We hold experiences every month for specific outcomes that require an absolute good fit, good intent, and a safely curated space.
We accomplish such a high integrity by assuring that all people joining the experience have been vetted and are a good fit.
Examples of curated experiences:
We are able to offer LEO, Fire, and EMS only breathwork sessions because of this vetting process.
We are able to offer breathwork sessions specifically for those who have experienced assault because of this process.
We are able to offer men’s and women’s only breathwork sessions because of this application process.
There are a handful of experiences where those who want to attend, will only do so if their identity and the location is kept private from the public. Or if they know only similar people will be there.
This application process is how we are able to curate some of our most impactful and transformative experiences.
Not all sessions are so specific. We do our big “general” group breathwork experiences every month, that are for everyone. Which allows everyone to bring their own intent or desired outcome and drop-in to an intense breathwork session with community.
Is this application process required:
Yes. Everyone must apply and be approved before joining any of our group experiences.
Additionally, this is required to be able to book 1-on-1 sessions with Shane.
What does it cost to apply:
It does not cost anything to apply.
This is only an application process. And does not require payment.
What’s the cost of each experience:
Currently, most group experiences are available as a pay what you want opportunity.
You read that right.. pay what you want, if you want, when you want, or nothing.
There is no expectations, pressure, awkwardness, or follow up.
Occasionally, we offer breathwork experiences with an established price.

Where are these experiences at?
Inner Forge experiences are an invitation to push past comfort and convenience.
An invitation to continually build grit and fortitude.
Most Inner Forge breathwork experiences are held outdoors in the wilderness.
Frequently involving a hike, camp fire, river cold plunges, sound healing, ceremonial grade cacao, and food prepared over a fire.
Occasionally we partner with studio spaces, roof tops, gyms, and hold a session indoors.
Inner Forge facilitates sessions in different locations every month. And only members know when and where.
For first responder and service member only sessions:
When planned and approved.. we hold breathwork sessions at your facility. Which can include large bay garages, gyms, conference rooms, etc.
Additionally, we can hold sessions at a team members home.
